Black. White. & Grey.
I shared with you all about my obsession with Rails LA shirts a little while back. You guys, this addiction is real. And out of control. I have always loved a good plaid, except that short period of time when I was a manager at Abercrombie and was forced to wear plaid every single day. Having to wear something makes you love it a little less. But this was pre A&F selling black clothing, back when we spritzed the rooms with cologne an uncontrollable amount throughout the day so you could barely breath while in store and where our main goal was to blow your ear drums with music. Oh and make you blush with the basically nude marketing photos throughout the store. Maybe they still do these things, I don't know, I haven't stepped foot in the store since my last working day. But I digress...if you love plaid as much as I do then you HAVE to invest in at least 1 Rails button up. (for size reference I usually wear a small, for some reason one of mine ran smaller and I had to size up to a medium)
Tips for saving on Rails shirts: If you aren't too picky about finding a specific color or style...
1. Nordstrom randomly has sales on their Rails shirts. Like the one shown above, I scored on major discount, you just have to act quickly! They sell out fast. They don't currently have any on sale right now, but check back regularly.
2. Haute Look/Nordstrom Rack usually always has Rails shirts online, but very limited styles and sizes. I'm kind of obsessing over this one here. How cute would it be this spring with white jeans and wedges?!
3. The Rails website sometimes has sale options as well. My shirt above is currently on sale for $98! And also comes in the dress version. They have quite a few styles right now, I'm loving this one and this one!
Happy shopping! Can't wait to hear about your favorite button-ups. I'm sure there are some other great brands that I need. A girl can never have enough plaids after all!
