Spicy Candied Pecans
Sweet. Spicy. And salty. All in one bitesized perfect little snack. These Spicy Candied Pecans are insanely good and insanely addicting! They take no time to throw together and you only need 4 ingredients (most of which you probably have in your pantry right now.) So go ahead and get to mixing and make these delicious pecans!
1/2 cup Confectioners sugar
1 tsp grinded sea salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 cups pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. While oven is preheating mix ingredients in a medium mixing bow. Whisk together the Confectioners sugar, sea salt and cayenne pepper. Once combined add your pecans and 4 tsp of water. (make sure not to add too much water or the mixture gets too thin and you want a good coating on your pecans.) Stir until pecans are fully coated and mixture is combined. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (makes for easy clean up) and spread out the pecans in a single layer on the parchment paper while making sure to get every last bit of the sugar mixture poured onto the pecans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min. Once out of the oven remove parchment paper from pan immediately and allow to cool on paper. After pecans have cooled break up any large clusters and store in air tight container or start snacking on them right away!
These pecans are delicious by themselves but I can't wait to show you how I'm using these as part of an appetizer for Friendsgiving this weekend. Nolan and I are having 12 friends over Saturday to eat, drink and enjoy this wonderful season with. Stay tuned for my table scape, recipes and hosting tips!
